Musical Interlude - What a Wonderful World

I think I have a soundtrack... this song, Louis Armstrong's rendition of "What a Wonderful World" seems to follow me around. I've always loved the song, and I seem to hear it a lot when I'm traveling. Most recently, it was playing in the Sarasota Classic Car Museum when I first walked through the doors. Last August, it was playing inside the elevator of Coit Tower in San Francisco. Whenever I hear it, I smile.

In the movie they'll make about me one day long after I'm gone, this will be the song that plays over the opening credits.

I see trees of green........ red roses too
I see them bloom..... for me and for you
And I think to myself.... what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue..... and clouds of white
The bright blessed day.... the dark sacred night
And I think to myself..... what a wonderful world.

The colors of a rainbow..... so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces..... of people going by
I see friends shaking hands..... sayin how do you do
They're really saying...... I love you.

I hear babies cry...... I watch them grow
They'll learn much more..... than I'll ever know
And I think to myself..... what a wonderful world.

Yes... I think to myself.... what a wonderful world.
